Why hasn’t Parental Alienation been stopped yet?
Many influential people remain unwilling to take responsibility for criminalising Parental Alienation in the UK because of the implications:
- concerns that it may lead to other forms of child abuse being overlooked
- the monetary cost of introducing and integrating reforms across the board
- the potential for compensation claims against the government and other bodies
- the potential for the involved professionals to be labelled as child abusers
